Youth mentoring

Bridge Mentors

A year of weekly conversations between a volunteer mentor and a young adult aged 18 to 24, about work, study and life.

A year, one hour a week

Every young adult deserves one steady person in their corner. Bridge Mentors pairs volunteers with young adults for a year of weekly one-hour conversations about work, study, money and whatever else is on their mind.

Matches are made by people, not an algorithm. Marcus and the mentoring team talk to both sides, then introduce pairs who share interests and schedules.

Training and support

  • A two-evening orientation before your first match

  • Monthly group sessions with other mentors

  • A named staff contact for every pair

  • Background checks for every mentor

You do not need a degree or a particular career. You need to be reliable, curious and kind.
